Bugatti and Factor Launch $24,000 Superbike: The Fastest UCI-Legal Road Bike

Bugatti, renowned for its hypercars, has partnered with high-performance bicycle manufacturer Factor to create the Bugatti Factor One – a limited-edition road bike pushing the boundaries of speed and luxury. Priced starting at $23,999, this collaboration brings automotive extravagance to the cycling world.

Engineering Beyond Limits

Factor’s One model is already known as one of the fastest UCI-legal bikes, meticulously designed to exploit every loophole within racing regulations. The Bugatti Factor One, however, throws the rulebook out the window. Key upgrades include a wider fork for enhanced stability and reduced drag, along with a carbon-fiber frame finished in a unique weave mirroring Bugatti’s signature automotive aesthetic.

The bike weighs under 17 pounds, thanks to carbon wheels (weighing less than three pounds combined), a carbon crankset, and alcantara on the saddle. Brake rotors blend carbon and steel, providing maximum stopping power with minimal weight.

A Touch of History and Exclusivity

Finished in Bugatti’s iconic French Racing Blue, the bike is adorned with a distinctive touch: the “dancing elephant” emblem created by Rembrandt Bugatti, brother of the company’s founder, Ettore Bugatti. Only 250 units will be produced, adding to its exclusivity.

Price and Perspective

The Bugatti Factor One significantly exceeds the price of Factor’s standard One, which ranges from $7,599 to $14,499. Even more extreme is Factor’s Hanzō Track Paris Edition, starting at $59,999. This places the Bugatti model in a rarefied segment, accessible only to those who already own high-end vehicles like the Bugatti Chiron.

The Bugatti Factor One is not just a bike; it’s a statement piece for enthusiasts who demand the pinnacle of performance and luxury in every aspect of their lives.

The collaboration highlights a growing trend of luxury brands expanding into niche markets, catering to ultra-high-net-worth individuals seeking exclusivity and top-tier engineering. The bike’s price point is justified by its unique design, high-end materials, and limited availability.
