Powertrain and Performance
While detailed specifications remain unreleased, the EV2 will utilize Kia’s modular E-GMP architecture, the same platform underpinning its other EV models. This suggests similar performance characteristics to the EV3, which features a 201-horsepower front motor and battery options for up to 375 miles of range (WLTP). The shared platform ensures efficient production and reduces development costs, making the EV2 more accessible to a wider customer base.
Interior Features
The EV2’s cabin will closely resemble the EV3’s interior, featuring a 12.3-inch driver display, a central 12.3-inch touchscreen, and a dedicated 5.3-inch climate control display. This design emphasizes a modern, tech-focused driving experience while maintaining cost efficiency through shared components.
