Ford has unveiled the interior of the 2027 Bronco RTR, a bolder, more accessible alternative to the Raptor, and it’s as striking inside as it is out. The cabin is designed to make a statement, emphasizing both performance and fun.
Interior Design: Hyper Lime and Bold Accents
The Bronco RTR’s interior is characterized by a high-contrast aesthetic centered around the vibrant Hyper Lime color. This isn’t subtle: the hue appears on dashboard inserts, grab handles, seatbelt webbing, and stitching, sharply contrasted against black leather upholstery. The goal, according to designer Lindsay Ross, was to create an immersive experience where even everyday actions—like reaching for the seatbelt—remind you that this vehicle is built for excitement.
Beyond color, the RTR features unique topographical graphics on the passenger-side dashboard, a dedicated Bronco RTR emblem on the center console, and embossed logos on the seats. The infotainment system even displays a custom startup animation.
Off-Road Hardware and Performance
The RTR isn’t just about looks; it’s equipped for serious off-road capability. Standard features include a high-clearance suspension and 33-inch tires. Optional upgrades include FOX internal bypass dampers and larger 35-inch tires for even more extreme terrain.
The RTR is powered by a 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine producing 300 hp, paired with a Raptor-sourced cooling fan and an anti-lag system for improved throttle response.
Standard Features and Pricing
The Bronco RTR includes a range of standard amenities, such as heated seats, dual-zone climate control, and Ford’s Co-Pilot 360 driver assistance suite. Pricing is expected to fall between $50,000 and $55,000, positioning it below the Badlands Sasquatch trim.
The 2027 Ford Bronco RTR will be publicly displayed at the New York Auto Show and the Bronco Stamped event in Moab, Utah. Further details will be released before its launch later this year.
